Soup du Jour A SCREW BALL MUSICAL COMEDY June 5 ~ July 11 Katherine Hawkes, ace reporter, is working undercover as a waitress and loses her heart to her pseudo boss, restauranteur Stewart Bailey. Her scoop will destroy him, but save the failing New York Herald and its gruff but lovable editor J.P. Thompson her long time mentor. Will Kate follow her heart or her head? Winning songs, lightning fast diologue in the "Tracy-Hepburn" tradition and a great plot are the delicious ingredients of this delightful tribute to the screwball comedies of the 1930's.

There Goes the Bride July 24 ~ August 31 Over the years we have laughed with you as we have presented the plays of Ray Cooney - Move Over Mrs. Markham, Run For Your Wife and Out of Order are just a few but, There Goes the Bride! is one of his zaniest! We know that people cry at weddings, but it is not often that you will weep over one in the theatre! Judy Westerby is about to marry. The groom’s parents have arrived from Australia and Judy’s Dad has botched their hotel reservations, the flowers are lost and Grandpa’s mind has taken a turn, not necessarily for the best. An extremely funny play about a young girl's forthcoming marriage, family complications and delusions brought about to Judy’s Father and a comical blow to the head. This is a fiendishly clever farce that gets madder and funnier as it goes along. This may be a three hankie production, not to wipe the wedding tears away but to stuff in your mouth. Bring your hankies and join us beginning July 24th.
